Origin of the Name

The Debris of Panjvahe has the ‘Panjvahe’ as the core word borrowed from real life which of course is relevant to some cultures. This word is composed of two Middle Eastern languages namely Arabic and Persian.

The first part ‘Panj’ comes from the Persian language which means ‘Five.’ While the second part of the word i.e., ‘Vahe’ has an Arabic origin which means ‘Oasis’ a green dot in the barren desert.

The two combine to form a single phrase that states Five Oasis. So, the Debris of Panjvahe is the debris of five oases.
